The 2026 race was officially a sellout for the 11th consecutive year, and 2027 is likely to be the hottest of tickets yet again. We have all the details to help you plan your trip.

Daytona 500 ticket prices for 2027 and where to buy

The 2027 Daytona 500 - the 69th running of The Great American Race - is just over one year away with the date set for Sunday February 21, 2027. That is moved back one week to avoid a clash with the Super Bowl. Smart move by the brass in Charlotte not to go up against the NFL and the biggest sporting event of all.

Select tickets for the 2027 race are already available via Daytona’s official partner Ticketmaster - currently selling from $194 per ticket up to $326 per ticket.

You can also sign up on the official Daytona website to a pre-sale waitlist to be informed when more tickets start to go on official sale.

Fans who bought tickets for 2026 can renew their packages for 2027 and get up to 20% discount in the process.

Hospitality and VIP Packages

There are of course some pretty swanky hospitality and VIP packages available if you really want to make it a once-in-a-lifetime experience. But as you can see from those Section 500 Daytona Club resale prices, that does not come cheap.

These packages of course include food and drink options with some also offering the opportunities to go behind the scenes and in some cases to meet the stars.

Infield camping at Daytona

This might be one of the best Daytona experiences of all - bring your own vehicle and camp on the infield during race week. Including Daytona 500 raceday on the Sunday.

It is pretty reasonable when it comes to cost as well - starting from $325 for 7 days. Nice price and an amazing way to experience The Great American Race in a seething mass of NASCAR magnificence.
