Kaulig Racing has confirmed Daniel Dye's full-time replacement as the driver of their No. 10 Ram truck for the rest of the season.
The team confirmed in a statement on Tuesday that Corey LaJoie will step in for the remainder of the NASCAR Truck Series season, after Dye resigned from the team in the month after making a homophobic comment on a livestream, being suspended by NASCAR immediately.
LaJoie had been slated to drive the team's No. 25 'free agent' truck at Rockingham this weekend, but will jump over to the No. 10 crew, being replaced for the weekend in the No. 25 by Ty Dillon.
Dye was reinstated by NASCAR this week after completing sensitivity training, but the 22-year-old will have to find a new drive.
The young prospect had been signed to run the No. 10 Ram truck for Kaulig, but that partnership has come to an end after just three races. While Ram had hoped to make headlines with their return to the sport this year, this was not what they had in mind.

Kaulig boss hails replacement driver
Kaulig CEO Chris Rice said of the move: "We selected Corey because of his extensive experience in just about every series in NASCAR and how well he worked with our organization at Darlington when he drove the No. 25.
“He brings the skill, maturity and work ethic we need to get our Ram program where it needs to be. We think he’ll help us speed that development and battle for checkered flags. We’re confident he’s the right driver to help us.”
LaJoie himself added: “The last couple months I’ve missed the grind of working towards a goal of success on track. There’s certainly a lot of work ahead of us getting our Ram trucks to a place where we compete for wins but with the people in the Kaulig Racing building, I believe we will get there.
“I really appreciate the confidence Kaulig Racing and Ram have in me. I have been a part of building a couple teams from the ground up and getting success and I will bring that experience to help Kaulig get to their potential on a quicker path.
"I love what Kaulig and Ram are doing to promote the Truck Series and the sport. It will be a fun challenge to be a part of.”
