Dale Earnhardt Jr. has given his take on a controversial moment from the weekend's NASCAR Cup Series race at Nashville.
Brad Keselowski got wrecked by Austin Dillon during Sunday's race, with the RFK Racing driver's spotter TJ Majors absolutely adamant that the wreck was deliberate after the pair got into it earlier in the race.
Earnhardt disagrees, and told Majors as much on this week's episode of the Dale Jr. Download – insisting that while Dillon might not particularly care about having wrecked Keselowski, it wasn't a deliberate act.
Majors retorted that Dillon should've lifted when the field got stacked up by a slow-moving car (replays at the time showed fairly clearly that the No. 3 did, in fact, get out of the throttle before making contact with the No. 6).
Dillon was not punished by NASCAR for the incident.

Dale Jr.: Dillon wreck wasn't intentional
“Just watching it, to me, he’s just tracking him. Out of the corner, he’s like, ‘Oh, I’m going where he goes.’ He’s looking for him,” Majors said.
Earnhardt replied: “My opinion is that, did he try to wreck you on purpose? I don’t think he did. Did he give a s*** that you wrecked? No, but I don’t think, considering everything that they’ve had to go through the last couple of weeks, that they want to be out there wrecking people."
He added: “I think everybody was checking up. I don’t think he drove into you on purpose. … He sees the No. 4 slide up the track, he’s getting down the track just like you are."
The racing legend and Prime Video was at the track to cover the race, and also revealed: “I did talk to Austin. Austin told me that I was dead on. … Me and him talking in a personal conversation, he would’ve told me he did it on purpose. He’d say, ‘f*** yeah, f*** that guy. We’re f****** buddies.”
