Joey Logano has opened up on he and his wife's decision to welcome a pair of foster children into their home.
The NASCAR Cup Series star revealed the new additions to his family last week, after he and his wife Brittany expanded their household by two.
Logano and his wife already have three biological children Hudson, born in 2018; Jameson, born in 2020; and daughter Emilia, born in 2022, and do a lot of work with young people in the foster system through the Joey Logano Foundation.
The three-time Cup Series champion shared the news on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio's coverage of his foundation's annual charity concert.

Logano family grows by two
He explained: "Yeah, we got our license, and we said, ‘You know what? We’re just gonna open our doors, and whatever God wants us to do, we’ll do'.
“A couple of cute little kids came walking in here recently, and so they are permanently in our home.”
Logano also credited his family – and especially his biological children – with stepping up for the new kids, adding: “To see them step up and share a room and do some of these things that have to be done has really been heartwarming. My wife’s the rock star of the whole group because, listen, I’m gone a lot.”
He also spoke about the decision at last weekend's race in Nashville, saying: "Sometimes you've just gotta do what you feel like is right. Is it harder? Yeah. Is it worth it? Absolutely, I'd do it again a hundred more times.
"Sometimes in life we make a big deal out of things and sometimes you've just gotta do it. We talked about it for years, and talked ourselves out of it, for reasons ... being busy, 'can we handle all that?', and eventually it just felt like kept getting called back to it. God just kept, I felt like, knocking on the door, and eventually you've got to just open the door up."
