Noah Gragson may have given a hint at his NASCAR Cup Series future this week, admitting he's 'trying to get a job next year'.

The 28-year-old took over the Dale Jr Download podcast this week with Chase Briscoe, and the pair covered a number of topics in a chaotic two hours in the studio together.

Possibly the most intriguing part came early in the podcast though, when Briscoe admitted that he 'still can't believe' Gragson didn't throw a punch at F1 driver Kevin Magnussen during their confrontation at Coronado last month.

Gragson then told the Joe Gibbs Racing star that he's 'trying to get a job next year' – possibly a very telling comment, with his future at Front Row Motorsports currently unclear. Kaulig Racing and Richard Childress Racing have both been rumored as possible destinations if his time at FRM ends this year.

Gragson: Punch would've had more consequences than just a fine

"I'm trying to get a job next year," he told Briscoe, "and there's a lot more consequences than just the monetary fine if I were to do that."

Naturally, the pair skated past the moment without any professionally nosy journalists to pick up on the fact that the phrasing suggested that Gragson is, indeed, going to be on his way out of Front Row by the end of 2026.

Instead, they discussed the online reaction from F1 fans to the incident, with Gragson saying: "The best is the DMs. They come out of the woodwork! It's always guys with like, zero posts, and they just Europeans who are like 'you fat f***ing w***er, you suck at driving!'

"It's like well, if I ran with him for 30th then we both kinda suck, right? If he was running around me, then we both kinda suck? When he hit me going into the corner, that was a 14G hit."

He did, though, admit that the Magnussen incident was just one frustration in a season full of them, adding: "It was frustrating, probably more frustrated at our overall situation this year and how tough it's been on the racetrack every week. But at the same time, I let my frustrations get the best of me."
