NASCAR Cup Series star Chris Buescher has shared a hype video ahead of the 2026 season.

The video, which the RFK Racing driver noted that he found on Instagram, is a Buescher-themed parody of the AI-generated 'We Are Charlie Kirk' song which dominated social media briefly last year, for better and worse.

The video features another AI-generated song, based on the 'original' about Kirk, changing the lyrics to be about the 33-year-old driver.

For example, 'We are Charlie Kirk, we carry the flame. We'll fight for the Gospel, we'll honor his name', becomes 'We are Chris Buescher, we carry RFK. We fight for Prosper, Texas, we honor the name'.

Buescher posts Kirk parody online

Buescher re-posted the 90 second video on Twitter, captioning it: "Found this on Instagram. Talk about getting hyped up for the 2026 season!"

Kirk was fatally shot in the neck in September of last year, with NASCAR holding a moment of silence and a flyover before the next race they ran after the right-wing influencer's death, at Bristol Motor Speedway, with multiple cars running decals in his memory.

It's unclear whether Buescher was entirely aware of the origins of the song 'about' him when he enjoyed and reposted it, but his fans have seemed to enjoy him posting about it.

The six-time Cup Series race winner went without a visit to victory lane last year for the first time since 2021, missing out on the playoffs as the bubble car for the second straight year.
