Kaulig Racing has opened the door to a vast number of NASCAR legends joining their ranks for 2026.

The team has pledged to run five entries in the Truck Series next year, acting as the partner for RAM's first foray back into the sport.

The team ran two full-time entries in the Cup Series this year (for Ty Dillon and AJ Allmendinger), while also running Xfinity Series entries including Christian Eckes and Daniel Dye in 2025.

Dye, Brenden Queen and five-year Cup Series veteran Justin Haley are all locked in to drive the RAM entries next year, but this week the team revealed that they plan to open one of their five trucks to a 'free agent' entry each week.

Kaulig ready for unique drivers

The No. 25 Dodge is now set to have a fresh driver every week as part of Kaulig's 'free agent driver program', which they're expected to fill with at least a few high profile names.

Owner Matt Kaulig said this week: “The free agent seat gives us the flexibility to bring in talent while keeping fans on their toes. Each driver will bring something unique to the team. It’s a new idea, and exactly the kind of energy we want heading into 2026.”

Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne have both been linked with the team this month, although Stewart's rumored involvement has been limited to a guest appearance at the 2026 All-Star Race weekend.

While Kaulig president Chris Rice denied this week that anything is agreed with either of those drivers, the open seat for the No. 25 lends some credence to the idea that one or both may step in for at least one race.
