One-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski has shut down talk of his team switching manufacturers this off-season.
As well as driving the No. 5 Ford for RFK Racing, Keselowski is famously a co-owner of the team (the K stands for Keselowski!) and is prominently involved in its decision-making processes.
The Athletic's Jordan Bianchi broke the news this week that Dodge could make its return to the Cup Series as a manufacturer as early as next year, having returned to the Truck Series this year, leading to speculation about which team they might partner with.
Keselowski has now firmly denied that RFK will be involved in Dodge's return, dismissing the rumors as 'great internet talk'.

RFK Racing to stick with Ford next season
“For those asking - RFK Racing has multi year agreement with Ford and a commitment from their leadership to return the program to a championship contender. Any speculation else-wise makes for great internet talk but, it is not based on anything real," the veteran posted on Twitter this week.
Keselowski's 2012 championship was Dodge's last in the series before leaving, but that connection doesn't appear to be enough to pair up again – at least in the short term.
The overwhelming favorite to be the first team to run Dodge cars in the Cup Series is Kaulig Racing, the team with whom the manufacturer returned to the sport in the Truck Series this year.
Kaulig currently run Chevrolets outside of the Truck Series, but currently do so without manufacturer support after their decision to run Ram trucks from 2026 onward – fielding five full-time entries. If any team is likely willing and able to work to Dodge's accelerated timeline, it's them.
