NASCAR outfit Garage 66 has confirmed a new driver deal ahead of next weekend's Cup Series event at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Owned by MBM Motorsports, Garage 66 runs part-time in the Cup Series with their No. 66 Ford, and has entered three events so far in 2026 - the Daytona 500, Atlanta, and Darlington.

They would go on to withdraw from the race in Atlanta, but at the Daytona 500, they finished 32nd with Casey Mears and 37th with Timmy Hill at Darlington.

Now, the No. 66 is set for Cup Series action once again, with Garage 66 confirming that Chad Finchum will drive the car at Bristol Motor Speedway next weekend, with backing from Brian King Roofing.

Chad Finchum set for Garage 66 drive at Bristol

Finchum, who was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, last raced in the Cup Series in 2025 in the same car, with outings at Texas (37th), Nashville (35th), and Bristol (35th).

“I’m really excited to have Brian King Roofing on board for Bristol,” said Finchum in a team statement.

“Racing at my home track in front of so many friends and fans from East Tennessee is always special, and it means a lot to represent a company that’s built such a strong reputation right here in our community.

"Bristol is a place I’ve had success at in the past, and I’m confident we can put together a solid run in the No. 66 and give everybody something to be proud of.”

Elsewhere, Garage 66 co-owner Carl Long added: “East Tennessee is a very important market for our race team, between our driver, my co-owners, and now bringing Brian King Roofing on board.

"This will be the fourth consecutive Bristol race for Garage 66, allowing us to build up a decent notebook here. I am confident we can deliver a good car for Chad to take on 500 laps in Thunder Valley.”
