NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon has confirmed his appearance at a North Carolina racing event, announcing that he's 'excited' to be taking part.
The 54-year-old Vallejo, California native had an incredible career in NASCAR, winning four Cup Series championships and 93 races before calling time on his days in the stock car racing series in 2016.
These days, Gordon's motorsports life is largely taken up at Hendrick Motorsports, where he plays an instrumental role as Vice Chairman and co-owner.
However, he'll be hitting a racetrack once again this month, confirmed for an appearance at the IROC Heritage Invitational at Ten Tenths Motor Club in Concord, N.C.
