NASCAR has released the infraction sheet from Sunday night's Cup Series race at North Wilkesboro Speedway, with 23 penalties handed out during the action.
Post-race, technical inspection was completed without any issues in the Cup Series garage, meaning Joey Logano's victory was made official. However, during the race, the officials were still kept very busy.
Speeding on pit road, unusually, was the most common infraction, with 12 punishments handed out in total, including to championship hopefuls Kyle Larson, Tyler Reddick and Ryan Blaney.
Elsewhere, Ross Chastain's day was ruined before it every started – with a pass-through penalty under green at the start of the race for multiple tech failures taking him off the lead lap, and unable to get back on it. He finished four laps down in 27th.
Another penalty had a huge impact the race, with Ty Gibbs running well and winning the first stage before being sent to the back for speeding on pit road in the stage break. He worked his way back up through the field to finish fourth, but had looked like having the pace to challenge for the win before being sent to battle through the pack.
