Rising NASCAR star Rajah Caruth has finally broken his silence after winning a major award at the end of the 2025 season.

Every year, the National Motorsports Press Association Most Popular Driver Award is given to one driver from each NASCAR national series, and is voted for by the fans.

Chase Elliott's dominance of the award continued in the Cup Series category in 2025, whilst Justin Allgaier scooped the award in the Xfinity Series.

Despite his championship hopes being dashed in the Round of 8 at Martinsville after a crash, Rajah Caruth was voted for by the fans as their most popular driver in the Truck Series.

Rajah Caruth thanks fans for award

Weeks after the award was given out, Caruth has now taken to social media with a lengthy and grateful message for his fans and those who voted for him.

“I'm making this quick video just to say thank you everybody for voting me most popular driver,” Caruth said in a video posted on X.

“Obviously, we had a lot of support this year across, not just social media, but at the race track, I definitely felt it, at driver intros and going to different things, whether it's diecast tents or running the dirt car or going to late model races or anything like that.

"So I just wanted to say quickly that I appreciate every single one of you. Hopefully, for those of you that celebrate, you guys can have a great Thanksgiving and a great holiday season for those that are able to.

"Sending all love from the Caruth family, and myself included."

Caruth enjoying off-season ahead of 2026

Caruth's plans for next season have already been revealed, with the 23-year-old set to step up to the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series (formerly Xfinity Series) on a full-time basis, splitting his time with JR Motorsports and Jordan Anderson Racing.

Caruth will drive the No. 88 Hendrickcars.com Chevrolet, although it is not yet confirmed how many events and races he will be taking part in, with the remainder of his events being driven for JAR.

The 23-year-old is keen to enjoy the off-season and what it brings first, though.

“It'll be a fun next year in 2026, driving the [No.] 88 HendrickCars.com Chevy for JR Motorsports and the [No.] 32 Chevy for Jordan Anderson full-time in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series," Caruth continued.

“But in the meantime, I just want to say thank you, happy holidays, and you'll see a little bit more of me in this winter. I'll be going around to different places and having some fun, and spending some family time.

“But yeah, I just want to say thank you guys. Have a great Thanksgiving if you celebrate it, and great holidays for all those that are fortunately able to and take care.”
