Zane Smith has gone after NASCAR rival Carson Hocevar once again this week, this time off the track rather than on it.
The Front Row Motorsports driver was on the Racin' With The Boys podcast this week alongside his friend Riley Herbst, and ended the hour-long show by giving Hocevar both barrels – calling him a 'bumf**k' and a coward.
Smith, who wrecked Hocevar on Sunday at Chicagoland, was on the warpath, complaining about the Spire Motorsports star's fans, his racing style, his personality and his social media usage in a fiery few minutes.
Asked by host (and former NFL star) Taylor Lewan to describe Hocevar in one word, Smith replied 'bumf**k' before making his feelings known about the Talladega winner. Will this conversation make the sit-down with NASCAR at Atlanta, intended to cool the pair's on-track relationship, more awkward? Maybe!

Smith continued: "His fans are the worst part. Have you ever seen the South Park, huge guy that's typing on the keyboard? Those are like, all of those fans."
On Hocevar himself, he added: "When you'll have run-ins with certain guys, throughout your career you'll have that with certain people. He'll try to talk to you after saying like 'I don't talk to anyone out there', he's full of s**t.
"He tries to be your buddy, then he'll go and screw you. It's like, just don't talk to me in the first place, because I don't like you, and we're gonna eventually have a run-in together so let's just not talk in the first place.
"Honestly, my approach with Carson, because like, he's fast, so...me and him had a run-in together at Iowa, and we raced hard and whatnot. There's a difference, some guys will race you hard and he'll just put us both in a bad spot where it's costing us lap time and neither of us are benefitting from it, that part gets frustrating.
"He made a mistake and wrecked us, spends the rest of the race waving at me and playing nice guy like 'oh man I'm so sorry, so sorry', then goes on social media and posts like a 'admit one', like 'I don't give a f***'.
"If you're going to be the guy hiding behind social media, that's a coward in my opinion. Act that way in person, say that to my face. I'm gonna be the same way, but don't be one way in person then hide behind your phone."
