23XI Racing co-owner Denny Hamlin has revealed that Tyler Reddick is close to signing a contract extension with the team.

Reddick has had a historic start to the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season, becoming the first driver to win the first three races of the year before picking up his fourth victory in six races on Sunday at Darlington.

Those four wins mean that 2026 is already the team's best ever in terms of race wins, vaulting Reddick to joint third favorite for a first championship according to the oddsmakers – leading the points standings by a monstrous 95 points from Ryan Blaney.

FOX's Bob Pockrass revealed before the season that Reddick is in a contract year, and now he looks set to cash in big time as 23XI become a bigger force than ever in the sport.

Asked on his Actions Detrimental podcast this week if Reddick was about to get a payday, Hamlin laughed: "Yeah, yeah, no doubt. That'll be done soon. He deserves everything he gets; he's just done a phenomenal job."

Reddick did appear before the season not to be stressing too much about his potential free agency, saying at the time: "I just work as hard as I can. I try and leave every last ounce of myself out there on the racetrack every single week.

"As long as I stay committed to being myself, being who I am and driving to my limit and continuing to find ways to improve, I'm not worried about it."

Hamlin and 23XI are having quite the season so far, with Reddick miles ahead at the top of the standings and his team-mate Bubba Wallace well-placed in third – just two points ahead of Hamlin himself in his Joe Gibbs Racing ride.
