Baltazar Leguizamon will continue his NASCAR journey in 2026 after announcing exciting race plans for the season.

The 25-year-old Argentine driver has so far made one NASCAR race appearance in his career, which came in the Xfinity Series at the Circuit of the Americas last season with Joey Gase Motorsports. Previously, Leguizamon had tried and failed to qualify for the 2024 Xfinity Series race at COTA with CHK Racing.

Away from NASCAR, Leguizamon's racing career has consisted of a mix of open-wheel and touring car racing, having featured in series such as the F3 Americas Championship and the Top Race V6 series in Argentina.

Now, in 2026, he has confirmed he will be racing in multiple races for Barrett-Cope Racing - a team recently formed from the merger of Cope Family Racing and Stanton Barrett Motorsports - in the newly rebranded O'Reilly Auto Parts Series next season.

The Argentine driver will race in the No. 30 Chevrolet for Barrett-Cope Racing, with three outings at COTA, Martinsville, and Watkins Glen confirmed so far, although he hopes to add to that list.

In a social media post, Leguizamon wrote: "I’m very excited to announce that in 2026 I’ll be racing in a multi-race NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series program for Barrett-Cope Racing!

"I’ll be driving the Chevrolet Camaro No. 30, powered by ECR engines, with a Satoro Racing Brembo partnership.

"Due to my license, my first 3 events are COTA, Martinsville & Watkins Glen, already confirmed, with the goal of adding more events throughout the season, especially on ovals, working toward earning my full NASCAR license by the end of the year."
