NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson is set to star in a new Prime Video documentary released next month.

Kyle Larson vs. The Double will air on Prime Video on May 21 and offer fans a look at Larson's quest to complete 'The Double' - racing in both the Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600 on the same day - in both 2024 and 2025.

In 2024, the weather in both Indianapolis and Charlotte curtailed Larson's attempt at completing the feat, while in 2025, both his Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600 attempts ended in early wrecks.

The feature-length documentary comes from Imagine Documentaries, Markay Media and NASCAR Studios, and has been directed by Emmy and Peabody Award-winning filmmaker Cynthia Hill.

Kyle Larson on new Prime Video documentary

Speaking as part of the official announcement, the reigning Cup Series champion said: “This documentary really shows what goes into trying to complete The Double, not just on race day, but in the weeks and months leading up to it.

“I’ve always felt like people watch us race, but they don’t see what it takes to get there.

"Having cameras around for two years gives a real look at my life – the preparation, the pressure, the travel, and the balance between racing and family.

"There are moments fans have never seen before, and I think it really captures how hard it is to do what we do and chase something big.”
