The man just has never seen a side-quest he didn't throw himself at whole-heartedly.

Jason Kelce has won a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles, he's appeared in an episode of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, and he's been on SNL.

He's also started a vocal group that's contributed to a Christmas album, has one of the most popular podcasts in the world...and has now been part of a race-winning NASCAR pit crew.

The seven-time NFL pro-bowler was spotted unexpectedly at Talladega this weekend, decked out in Hendrick Motorsports gear as part of Corey Day's No. 17 pit crew for Saturday's O'Reilly Series race.

Kelce helps out in maiden NASCAR win

Day only led one lap in the race, but it was the one that counted – leading the pack when a last-lap caution came out to end the race and give the 20-year-old his first win in the series.

Kelce wasn't a major part of the team, but did help transport tires for the No. 17 crew. Of course, it's not unusual for ex-football players to turn up as pit crew members...but usually former high school or college athletes, rather than one of the greatest centers the game has ever seen.

The 38-year-old hasn't spoken much about his new experience yet, but it would be fascinating to hear his perspective on the entirely new experience.

Some racing fans were split on his appearance in the crew though, with at least one complaining of 'Kelce fatigue' as the former Cincinnati Bearcat continues to pop up on just about every TV in the nation.
