NASCAR star Kyle Busch might be on a long winless streak in the Cup Series, but he isn't giving up hope on further success at Richard Childress Racing just yet.
After leaving Joe Gibbs Racing at the end of 2022, the two-time Cup Series champion signed for RCR and had a good amount of success in his first season there, winning three races and finishing inside the top five on 10 occasions.
However, since then, Busch and the team have found success much harder to come by, with the two-time Cup Series champion currently on a 98-race winless streak ahead of Sunday's Cup Series race at Darlington.
2026 started brightly for Busch, with the No. 8 team taking pole for the Daytona 500, but in the opening five races of the season, he has yet to achieve a top 10 finish, and currently sits 22nd in the points standings.

Kyle Busch hopeful of RCR wins
Speaking to 2014 Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick on his Happy Hour show, Busch has now addressed his lack of strong results in recent seasons, but has revealed that he still believes that he and the team can make a success of things.
“I still feel like there's more wins out there,” Busch told Harvick. “I feel like there's more wins for me, there's more wins for RCR.
“There's more opportunity for us to be successful together, and so that's what drives me.
“I'm not a quitter, like I don't just want to say, like yeah, throw your hands up and be done and get out of here. There’s still more wins out there, wherever those wins may be.”
Big decision looming for Busch
Busch's comments come amid a contract year for the two-time champion, with his current deal at RCR set to run out at the end of 2026.
The 40-year-old opted to sign an extension with the team last season, but if he and the team continue to struggle to make the top 10, never mind win races, he might have a tough call to make.
Several cars are set to 'open up' at the end of this campaign, with multiple drivers in contract years.
That means an enticing opportunity elsewhere might present itself, although, for now, it appears Busch is fully focused on making his time at RCR a success.
