NASCAR fans have been left to speculate after Xfinity Series champion Jesse Love teased a major 2026 announcement.
The Menlo Park, California native came out on top in NASCAR's second series last season by winning the championship race at Phoenix in November, and he's been keeping busy ever since.
Love's off-season included a trip to Australia, where he competed in the Super2 season finale - the feeder series to Australian Supercars
With 2026 having now arrived, the 20-year-old's full focus is back on NASCAR and defending his crown in what will be known as the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, with Love's return to Richard Childress Racing for another season having been confirmed last October.

However, after teasing a 2026 announcement on social media, some have begun to speculate that a huge drive in the Cup Series could be forthcoming. Either that, or an appearance in other racing series.

The above tweet got many very excited, with several theories made in the replies about what the announcement could be regarding.
"More Cup starts in 2026 in the 33?" one X user wrote.
Several others, meanwhile, had theories that Love was set to announce a drive for the Daytona 500.
"Daytona 500 for Beard?" one fan wrote, whilst another predicted: "Love to run the JRM cup car at Daytona - boom."
Another user even felt the announcement date was some sort of cryptic clue: "Wow, TWOsday the SIXth, how clever Jesse. Got me scratching my BEARD wondering."
Added to that were also suggestions that Love could be set for a return to the Super2 Series after a recent outing in Australia in November, whilst an appearance at the upcoming Chili Bowl has also been slated.
At a time of the season when news is sparse, Love has certainly got fans talking, and we're set to find out Tuesday exactly what it's all about.
