Cleetus McFarland is set to return to NASCAR action in the O'Reilly Series at Nashville this weekend, but ahead of the event, another exciting announcement has been made.

Niece Motorsports has confirmed that Cleetus will also race in the Truck Series again this season, returning to their No. 4 truck at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday, June 6.

Cleetus drove the No. 4 Ford at Daytona International Speedway earlier this season, too, but his race ended very early when he wrecked on lap six.

Cleetus' only other NASCAR outing this year so far has been in the O'Reilly Series at Rockingham, where he finished the race in 32nd.

Cleetus McFarland on O'Reilly Series return

After his O'Reilly Series race at Rockingham, Cleetus was denied NASCAR approval to race in the O'Reilly Series at Talladega Superspeedway, but later confirmed he would be running at Nashville Superspeedway this weekend instead.

“Look out guys, your boy is going back O'Reilly’s racing on May 30th,” McFarland announced on Facebook.

“I'll be in the number 33 Tommy's Express Car Wash Car from RCR out at Nashville Superspeedway so I want you guys to all come out, see some action.

“I'm going to be doing a lot of training with RCR, a lot of simulator time. Really looking forward to getting back out on the track in that O'Reilly's car.

“A lot of power, got to dial in my turning left, so come on out May 30th, Nashville Superspeedway, it’s going to be a blast! Look out.”

Saturday's O'Reilly Series race at Nashville is set to start at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on the CW.
