Denny Hamlin's 23XI Racing lawsuit against NASCAR may be over, but he's proving that he's still up for some fights in the off-season.
The 2025 Cup Series runner up has had an intensely stressful year, with the team he co-owns in a contentious dispute with NASCAR, a championship battle of his own to focus on, and some well-publicised family health issues.
With the lawsuit out of the way as of last week, and the championship fight – devastating as his Phoenix heartbreak was – now more than six weeks in the rear view mirror, Hamlin now appears to be blowing off excess steam by settling some grudges online.
Up bright and early on Tuesday morning, Fox and SiriusXM NASCAR analyst Larry McReynolds tweeted out a teaser for his SiriusXM NASCAR Channel 90 show, which Front Row Motorsports (the only team who joined 23XI in their lawsuit against NASCAR) crew chief Dylan Cappello would be appearing on.

Hamlin on the warpath after NASCAR settlement
Hamlin...didn't seem too interested in the actual upcoming content for the day's show, instead using the tweet to air his grievances with McReynolds and his fellow pundits.
"Good morning," he wrote. "Now that the case is settled and the evidence is out will you or anyone on channel 90 be issuing an apology for what you all said about 23XI/FRM when the lawsuit was filed?
"I believe it was 'how dare them for trying to come in and change the sport. 23XI hasn’t been around long enough and FRM wasn’t good enough'. Also how about 'I dont know what their problem is, 13 other teams signed it'. Just to name a few examples."
McReynolds has not responded at time of writing, but today's show might just be worth tuning in for – depending on what the station's lawyers recommend.
