Kyle Larson might have scooped the NASCAR Cup Series championship at Phoenix in November but he was soundly beaten when it comes to the most popular diecast of 2025.
A hugely popular phenomenon among the sport's fans, diecasts are scale-model replicas of real NASCAR race cars, typically made from diecast metal.
They come in various scales of the real cars, such as 1:64, 1:24, and 1:18, and replicate the real thing down to sponsor logos, paint schemes, numbers, and sometimes even race damage.
Ultimately, they allow fans to show support for their favorite drivers or moments. You might buy a record made by your favorite singer, for example, but in NASCAR, you might buy a diecast of your favorite driver's car.
As a result, the most popular drivers and teams are the ones that tend to perform best in terms of sales, and thanks to Lionel Racing - NASCAR's official diecast manufacturer - we now know who came out on top in 2025.
