Not many NASCAR drivers boast a CV as impressive as Brad Keselowski.

Not only is the 41-year-old a Cup Series champion having lifted the title back in 2012, he has also raced for some of the biggest teams in the sport, and with it, their respective team owners.

Indeed, having driven for Hendrick Motorsports, Team Penske and RFK Racing, and even becoming a co-owner of the latter, Keselowski has a unique perspective to offer on how the likes of Rick Hendrick, Roger Penske, and Jack Roush operate.

As it turns out, Keselowski says that each offers something different and that he has learned something different from all of them.

Keselowski: Hendrick, Penske, Roush all bring different strengths

Speaking on the Stacking Pennies podcast back in September, Keselowski was quizzed on coming up through Hendrick Motorsports first, and later Team Penske.

However, when answering, he was also quick to mention working with RFK and Jack Roush.

“There’s certainly a lot that I appreciate,” Keselowski explained. “And then having worked with Jack as well, they all bring different strengths to the table.

“I tried to bring a few of my own things but candidly, there’s enough to learn from those three to be successful in its own way.

“There’s things I really loved about working with Roger Penske. He was super committed to having nice stuff, having long-term partnerships, and there was a lot of things that I was really privileged to be a part of there.

“Same with Rick Hendrick. Rick Hendrick was probably the best people person I’ve ever seen in my life. He understood how to motivate people, how to push them to be their best while still holding them accountable.

“And then Jack Roush is to me the best person I’ve ever seen working within the lanes of accountability, really really good at immediate and effective accountability.

“And so all three of them you're like ‘okay, there’s something to be learned here.'“

Continuing to race into his 40s, Keselowski now balances being a driver with his ownership responsibilities at RFK, a team that now bears his name.

Having learned from the very best, however, he is more than equipped to step into that role, and once his racing days are over, it will be fascinating to see the legacy he can forge for himself and his team whilst not being the man in the car.
