NASCAR Cup Series action from Dover Motor Speedway has been red-flagged after a big wreck saw Ryan Preece's car catch fire.
Sunday's All-Star Race in Delaware had barely gotten going when the first big incident of the day occurred, with a wreck towards the rear of the field.
On first viewing, replays showed multiple cars coming together as Preece moved down the track, with himself, Kyle Larson and Todd Gilliland all making contact and involved in the incident, along with several others.
Larson hit the wall, but so did Preece's No. 60 Ford, which took a huge hit and scarily, quickly caught fire.
Thankfully, Preece was able to get out of the car under his own power and was eventually seen and released from the infield care center at the track.
Five cars are currently behind the wall and either out of the race or undergoing repairs, these are:
- Ryan Blaney
- Kyle Larson
- Todd Gilliland
- Ryan Preece
- Cole Custer
