NASCAR Cup Series superstar Ryan Blaney has signed a long-term contract extension to remain with Team Penske.
The 32-year-old superstar from Hartford Township in Ohio has inked a deal which
commits his future to the team with which he won his first championship in 2023.
Blaney’s new deal continues a long association with his all-powerful team, dating all the way back to 2012 but full-time in Cup action since 2018.
Blaney, who currently sits fourth in the 2026 Cup Series standings behind early leader Tyler Reddick, said he’s delighted to continue a relationship which has benefitted both parties in a big way.

Blaney thanks Team Penske for committing to him
“Roger’s commitment to me and my career has been something a race-car driver could only dream of - not only getting the opportunity in the first place, but sticking with me through the highs and lows for more than a decade,” he said.
“To still be a part of Team Penske - the wins, the championships, the people - and continuing to grow my career with the unwavering support of Roger and the entire organization has been the opportunity of a lifetime.
Blaney has won Cup Series races in nine of the last 10 seasons, racking up 18 total wins in 389 career starts. He is now a contender at every race he competes in, and a championship challenger every single year. Committing to Penske means that should carry on for a while yet.
Roger Penske says Blaney is 'elite'
“Ryan Blaney has developed into one of the elite drivers in the NASCAR Cup Series, and the success he’s achieved speaks for itself,” Roger Penske said in a team release.
“I’m confident Ryan and the No. 12 team will continue to build momentum into the future, especially positioned alongside a committed partner like Menards who’s been instrumental to our team for more than a decade.”
Blaney’s championship in 2023 is the highlight of his career so far at Team Penske, as he hung on for second place in a thrilling season finale in Phoenix to clinch the title.
