A NASCAR driver is set to fulfil a dream after a team confirmed he would be driving for them at Daytona next season.
The 2026 NASCAR schedule kicks off at Daytona International Speedway the week commencing February 9, with the Cup, O'Reilly Auto Parts and Truck Series all in action at the World Center of Racing.
Motorsports Business Management (MBM Motorsports) has now confirmed that Tyler Tomassi will be driving their No. 69 Ford F-150 in the latter of those events, renewing their partnership with the 22-year-old for the upcoming season.
The West Greenwich, Rhode Island native drove seven times in the Truck Series in 2025, including three times for MBM at Pocono, the Charlotte Roval and Talladega.

Tomassi: Racing at Daytona is a dream come true
It is unclear how many times Tomassi will be racing for MBM in 2026, but he says he is already ticking off a major dream of his in the first race of the season.
“Racing at Daytona is an absolute dream come true for any race car driver, and I am so thankful to have the opportunity to race at this historic track,” he explained.
“After our pace at Talladega, I have every reason to believe that we will be competitive.
"I want to thank [team owner] Carl Long for his continued belief in me, as well as my family, friends, and supporters. See you at Daytona!”

Top 10 the target
Team owner Carl Long also spoke in the official press release, confirming that the team has a strong target in mind for the 22-year-old.
“Tyler experienced many firsts with our team in 2025: his first 2.5-mile track, his first road course, his first superspeedway,” said Long.
“As a team, it is rewarding to provide a platform for young drivers to learn the ropes of NASCAR and assist their improvement behind the wheel.
"Tyler had Top 10 speed in his truck when that cut tire trapped us laps down at Talladega. We are excited to give him another chance to bring home a Top 10!”
The Truck Series season opener at Daytona is set to take place on February 13, with FOX Sports 1 providing fans with live coverage of the action when it gets underway at 7:30pm ET that night.
