NASCAR driver and commentator Parker Kligerman has posted a picture from his travels this season, in the bewildering period between Christmas and the New Year.

The 35-year-old appears to have jetted off for a European vacation in the heart of the holiday season. How can we tell? Well, he posted a picture that appears to have been taken from right outside Ferrari's famous Maranelllo headquarters.

Kligerman doesn't have any close links with Ferrari in his racing life – in fact, his only race in IMSA saw him behind the wheel of a Lamborghini, the Italian car company set up by Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963 specifically to compete with the Prancing Horse – but the lure of the iconic black horse on yellow background proved too much for him to resist.

The Westport, Connecticut native had a number of fans in his replies sharing their experiences near the iconic factory, with a few recommending restaurants and things to see.

Kligerman's 2026 status unclear

With appropriate reverence to the history of the northern Italian town, Kligerman's picture was simply captioned: "Made it to the Holy Land".

It's still unclear where – or if – Kligerman will race in NASCAR next year, having run a part-time Truck Series program in 2025 with Henderson Motorsports.

His best official finish in eight races last year was 14th (achieved three times, somehow), although he came across the line as winner of the season-opening Fresh From Florida 250 at Daytona before disqualification for a height violation broke his heart on Valentine's Day.

He also took a very brief foray into the Xfinity Series late in the year, subbing in for an injured Connor Zilisch just 13 laps into the 100-lap (104 with overtime) Wawa 250, also at Daytona in August – this time taking the flag to win the race without any technical issues, the first relief driver to cross the line first since 2007.

...Although the victory will go down as Zilisch's in the history books. That's right – Parker Kligerman was the first car across the line at Daytona twice in one year, and will be credited with zero wins. No wonder he likes the broadcast booth more than the cockpit.
