Connor Jackson Zilisch, the brilliantly talented teenager, will make his eagerly-awaited move to fulltime NASCAR Cup Series racing in 2026.

The man from Charlotte, North Carolina was a true breakout star in 2025, claiming 10 victories in Xfinity Series racing, though it was still not enough to land him a title as he lost out to Jesse Love.

Zilisch is precocious beyond his tender years, a spectacular talent who has naturally drawn comparisons to another Red Bull athlete - F1 great Max Verstappen.

2026 will see Zilisch drive the No. 88 Chevrolet, partnering Kiwi Shane van Gisbergen and Ross Chastain in an intriguing lineup.

Zilisch had really broken onto the bigtime racing scene in 2024 as he claimed famous LMP2 class victories at both the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring.

Connor also claimed his maiden NASCAR race success in 2024, an Xfinity Series victory at Watkins Glen which came just two months after his 18th birthday.

As well as those 10 Xfinity race wins in 2025, Zilisch also put together a record-breaking run of 18 consecutive top-5 finishes.
