The 2026 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series hits Sonoma Raceway this weekend, with the action kicking off with practice and qualifying today, Friday, June 26.
NASCAR has confirmed that group qualifying procedures will be in place at the 1.99-mile road course in California, and there's set to be huge competition for the pole.
Not only are the full-time O'Reilly Series regulars set to compete this weekend, Trackhouse Racing trio Shane van Gisbergen, Ross Chastain and Connor Zilisch are also set to take part in the event.
In last year's O'Reilly Series qualifying at Sonoma, it was van Gisbergen who came out on top ahead of Zilisch, but the roles were reversed on Sunday, when Zilisch went on to take the victory ahead of the Kiwi.
We can't wait to see how they get on this time around, and if any of the O'Reilly Series regulars can challenge their road course expertise.
