NASCAR has released the infraction sheet from Sunday's Cup Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with 16 penalties handed out during the action.
Post-race, technical inspection was completed without any issues in the Cup Series garage, meaning Corey Heim's second victory of the year was made official. However, during the race, the officials were still kept plenty busy.
Penalties for pitting before pit road was open dominates the infraction report, with all but three of the penalties being for exactly that, leading to the likes of Ryan Blaney and Bubba Wallace being sent to the back of the field.
Of the other penalties, there was one fairly unusual one – Ty Dillon getting pinged in the first stage for going above the blend line exiting the pits – and two much more common ones for speeding in the pits.
