Another NASCAR driver decision has been confirmed ahead of this weekend's action at North Wilkesboro Speedway, with another piece of the 2027 Cup Series jigsaw now complete.
Front Row Motorsports announced on Friday that Todd Gilliland has signed a contract extension with the team that will see him continue to drive the No. 34 Ford next season.
The 26-year-old first joined Front Row Motorsports back in 2020, embarking on two full-time Truck Series campaigns with the team, in which he made the playoffs in both.
In 2022, he got the promotion to the Cup Series, where he has remained ever since, clocking up 164 races for Front Row, finishing inside the top 10 on 16 occasions.

Gilliland's dream In-Season Challenge run continues
The aforementioned contract news comes at a time when there are a lot of eyes on Gilliland due to his run in the 2026 In-Season Challenge.
Heading to North Wilkesboro Speedway this weekend, the 26-year-old is one of four Cup Series drivers left in the competition and in with a chance of winning the $1 million prize.
He's certainly got a tough job on his hands to progress to the final two, though, with his opponent this weekend being Chase Elliott.
Perhaps he can take heart from the fact he knocked out Elliott's HMS teammate Alex Bowman last weekend, but whatever happens from here, it's been a much deeper run for Gilliland than anyone expected.
