The NASCAR Cup, O'Reilly and ARCA Menards Series were all set to be in action at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, but the weather has seen Cup qualifying canceled.
Throughout various points of the day in Alabama, thunderstorms and a decent chance of rain are forecast at the track, which could threaten the schedule.
Cup Series qualifying was set to get underway at 10:30 a.m. ET, for example, but the session has now been called off due to the weather. As a result, the starting lineup for Sunday's race has been set as per the NASCAR rule book.
At this stage, it remains to be seen what happens to the remainder of today's schedule in Alabama.
The ARCA Menards Series race is scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m. ET, but once again, thunderstorms and a 51% chance of rain are currently forecast for just before that time.
Unfortunately, that is the case at 4 p.m. ET, too, when the O'Reilly Series race is set to begin at the track.
