23XI Racing, co-owned by basketball legend Michael Jordan and current superstar driver Denny Hamlin, is at the very center of the NASCAR world right now.

After filing an antitrust suit against NASCAR (along with Front Row Motorsports, the team engaged in a very public battle with the brass in Charlotte over the very future of the sport. The case was finally settled in December 2025.

23XI then started the 2026 Cup Series season in terrific fashion as Tyler Reddick claimed a dramatic Daytona 500 win.

Based in Huntersville, North Carolina, 23XI Racing had three fulltime Cup Series drivers in 2025 - Bubba Wallace (No. 23 Toyota), Reddick (No. 45) and Riley Herbst (No. 35). It also raced Corey Heim (No. 67 car) on a parttime basis.

23XI was born in 2021 and made its official racing debut at the Daytona 500 in 2021. Since then it has claimed a total of 10 Cup Series race wins, but has yet to land a championship.

2025 saw both Wallace and Reddick progress to the postseason, but they did so with only one victory total throughout the season - Wallace in the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis. Herbst meanwhile struggled all year long, finishing a lowly 35th in the standings.
