Rising NASCAR Cup Series star Carson Hocevar is making headlines yet again, but this time, it's for all the right reasons!
The hotshot 22-year-old has proved a very controversial figure among his fellow drivers in recent seasons, irking many of his rivals on many different occasions throughout the 2025 campaign.
Team Penske star and 2023 Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney even went as far as to brand Hocevar a 'moron' post-race at Atlanta earlier this year after the pair came together at the Georgia track, whilst Ricky Stenhouse Jr threatened that he would 'beat' Hocevar's ass when they get back to the United States after NASCAR's Cup Series race in Mexico City.
Hocevar surprises his dad with awesome gift
Ultimately, some love him and some hate him, but fans are getting their deepest insight yet into the man who pilots the No. 77 Chevrolet in a new NASCAR documentary.
NASCAR is currently in the midst of airing 'RISING', a new docuseries that focuses on three young, up-and-coming drivers throughout the 2025 NASCAR season.
Hocevar fills one of those three slots, and in a new clip released on November 19, the Spire Motorsports driver can be seen gifting his father a brand new Chevrolet truck as a surprise at his team's factory.
Hocevar lured his father in by pretending there was a team event on, before showing him the truck and asking: "You like it? It's yours."
It is clearly an emotional moment for both father and son, who then embrace before Hocevar Sr says: "You didn't have to do that, but thank you. I'll take it over and show Grandpa."
Hocevar's mother later adds: "He's [Carson] pretty awesome. He's a pretty special kid anyway, but wow, that means a lot."
