Denny Hamlin is now a firm favorite to finally end the wait for a NASCAR Cup Series Championship in 2026.

The 45-year-old Joe Gibbs Racing star came agonizingly close to his first title in 2025, being pipped in the final laps by Kyle Larson in Phoenix.

Hamlin though has roared back better than ever in 2026, reeling off three victories in succession including Pocono last weekend.

Denny, who now has 64 Cup Series race wins, is just 19 points behind early-season standings leader Tyler Reddick, who chased him home at Pocono. And he is a strong +200 favorite to finally end the way for a championship.

Reddick is second best in the odds right now on +350, with reigning champion Larson next on +800. 2023 champion Ryan Blaney is on +900.

Christopher Bell and Chase Elliott are next on +1000 with Chase Briscoe a +1600 shot and William Byron on +2000.

The race to the Chase moves on to San Diego this weekend for the Anduril 250 at Coronado Naval Base (Sunday, 4pm ET, Prime Video).
