The first NASCAR Cup Series standings of the season are in following an exhilarating finish at the 2026 Daytona 500, and it's Tyler Reddick who leads the way after race one.
The 23XI Racing star stormed to victory at Daytona International Speedway with a stunning last-lap charge on Sunday afternoon, taking his and his team's first-ever win in The Great American Race.
With NASCAR drivers now awarded 55 points for a race victory under the new Chase format, Reddick tops the standings on 58 points at present, having picked up three earlier in the race in stage two.
Behind him is Joey Logano on 46 points, with Chase Elliott (43), Zane Smith (41), and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (39) rounding out the top five at present.
On the flip side, it was a tough day for Joe Gibbs Racing star Chase Briscoe after he was involved in a multi-car wreck on Lap 85. As a result, he sits 37th in the standings to start the season with just two points on the board.
Reigning Cup Series champion Kyle Larson sits 15th on 29 points after race one.
