NASCAR Cup Series star Denny Hamlin has been sent a heartfelt message of support from his fiancée after a seismic day in court for his 23XI Racing team.
Thursday was day nine of the antitrust lawsuit between NASCAR and two of its Cup Series teams - 23XI and Front Row Motorsports - who sued last October, alleging anticompetitive and monopolistic practices.
It proved a momentous day, however, with both sides agreeing to a settlement that puts the 14-month legal battle at an end.
As part of the settlement, 23XI will get their three Cup Series charters back having lost them in 2025, and more importantly, 'evergreen' charters will be available to all of the Cup Series field - something they had been trying to negotiate with NASCAR previously to no success.

In light of the news, Fish took to her Instagram page with a strong message of her support for her partner, whom she has been engaged to since 2024.
"Just so proud of you, and your determination to grow and fight for the sport that you love," Fish wrote on Instagram.
"You have made history, and I am so grateful to be able to be a witness to it all.
"What an incredible day for all those who love racing and NASCAR.
"Thank you to everyone who never stopped believing; your support means everything."

Hamlin himself had the following to say after 23XI was able to reach the settlement agreement with NASCAR.
"I've cared deeply about the sport of NASCAR my entire life. Racing is all I've ever known, and this sport shaped who I am," Hamlin wrote.
"That's why we were willing to shoulder the challenges that came with taking this stand.
"We believed it was worth fighting for a stronger and more sustainable future for everyone in the industry. Teams, drivers, and partners will now have the stability and opportunity they deserve.
"Our commitment to the fans and to the entire NASCAR community has never been stronger. I'm proud of what we've accomplished, and now it is time to move forward together and build the stronger future this sport deserves."
