After two weeks of road course racing at Naval Base Coronado and Sonoma, the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series hits Chicagoland Speedway in Illinois this weekend.
After moving away from tracks with right-hand turns, the odds have levelled out slightly for Sunday's race compared to the 'Shane van Gisbergen at road courses' effect – but there's still one driver head and shoulders above the rest.
You might be asking: 'Is it the driver who's won the last three oval races, leads in points and hasn't finished outside the top ten on an oval since March?'
Spoilers, but...yes it is. Denny Hamlin said after his All-Star Race win at Dover, 'if we’re going to a track that turns left, I expect to win every single week'. It seems the oddsmakers basically agree, pricing him at +320 for this weekend's race.
The oddsmakers believe that Hamlin's point lead rival Tyler Reddick is his biggest threat this weekend, currently priced at +550 ahead of the action. Kyle Larson (+600), Christopher Bell (+850) and Ryan Blaney (+1000) follow behind.
At the opposite end of the field, a string of drivers are priced at +50000 or above ahead of Sunday's race, with Ty Dillon, Cole Custer, JJ Yeley and Cody Ware (those last two at +70000) all considered huge longshots for the win.
With that said, let's take a look at the full list of the latest odds below.
