Indianapolis Motor Speedway has announced exciting news for NASCAR fans planning to head to the Brickyard 400 race weekend in 2026.
The venue has now confirmed a three-day schedule for the 2026 race weekend, set to take place between July 24-26, with both the Cup Series and O'Reilly Auto Parts Series in action.
It has now been revealed that on Saturday, July 25, the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series' Pennzoil 250 will take place, whilst the Cup Series' Brickyard 400 will take place the following day on Sunday, July 26.
The full practice and qualifying schedule, including for Friday, July 24, is set to be shared at a later date.

There is good news if you are hoping to attend on that Friday, too, with tickets available for just $15. Of course, as the weekend progresses and more meaningful track action takes place, the prices do ramp up.
On Saturday, tickets start at $35, as per IMS, whilst Sunday's tickets start at the slightly higher price of $40.
Good news if you want to bring your family along, too. Kids 15 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by a General Admission or Flex Admission adult ticketholder.
“Tickets for all 2025 marquee events at IMS went on sale a few weeks ago, and fans can now add Friday of Brickyard Weekend to their plans,” IMS President J. Douglas Boles said.
“If you’re looking for a last-minute holiday gift or stocking stuffer, these tickets are a great way to celebrate with friends and family at the Racing Capital of the World.”
