A NASCAR team has announced an exciting double driver deal ahead of the 2026 Truck Series season.

Tricon Garage released an official statement on Thursday confirming that both Gio Ruggiero and Tanner Gray had signed contract extensions with the team to take them in to next season.

Both Ruggiero and Gray drove for the Mooresville, North Carolina headquartered outfit in 2025, with Ruggiero in their No. 17 Toyota, and Gray in the No. 15 Ford.

Ruggiero achieved strong results for the team at times in what was his rookie campaign in the Truck Series, winning at Talladega in the fall and finishing inside the top 10 on 11 occasions throughout the rest of the season, seven of which were inside the top five.

Gray, meanwhile, did not win a race, but did achieve three top-five finishes and six inside the top 10 overall, and the team feels he is a crucial member, having been with the outfit since 2020.

Both will now return to Tricon Garage next season, attempting to achieve even stronger results moving forward.

Who will be their teammates?

The above announcement comes after Tricon Garage has already confirmed the addition of Kaden Honeycutt to their driver lineup for 2026.

Honeycutt will drive full-time in the No. 11 Toyota for the team, with the truck having been vacated by Corey Heim following his championship success in 2025.

This leaves just one full-time truck yet to be accounted for at Tricon next season, the No. 5, which was driven by Toni Breidinger throughout this past year.

Compared to her teammates, Breidinger struggled, failing to finish in the top 10 all season as she stepped up from ARCA.

In their statement, Tricon promises that further announcements on their 2026 driver and crew chief lineups will come at a later date, which is presumably when we will find out who is driving the No. 5.
