NASCAR greats Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson might be the stars of the show at the 2026 Tulsa Shootout, but their next generations are not doing too badly either.
The two-time Cup Series champions are both in action this week at the big shindig down in Oklahoma, and so are their children. And the youngsters took center stage on Tuesday as Brexton Busch and Owen Larson both claimed terrific wins.
Ten-year-old Brexton raced like a pro as he went from fourth to first for a Winged A-Class heat victory, while Owen - who turned 11 on December 23 - followed suit later in the day.

Brexton Busch on Tulsa win
Clearly the future of the sport is in good hands judging by how both boys handled post-race interview duties like seasoned vets. Oh, and Brexton showed he has potential as an analyst too, spending some time in the FloRacing booth.
Brexton talked about his win before reeling off a list of sponsors like a 30-year-old pro, and he was clearly having fun out there.
He said: “Nobody was on the outside and it had fresh water for like three car lengths or so, so I was like ‘let’s just go up and there and try it and see if we can pick up any spots'.
"And we were able to get some spots and we were really, really good on the top. It was really fun up there.
“It’s really really fun to be in a Qualifier now with this.”

Owen Larson reacts to Shootout success
Owen, meanwhile, had to wait 106 races for his chance to claim his heat win, ‘playing with his buddies’ in the long spell between starts.
It was a really tough outing for Larson Jr as he got the better of a crazy battle with Jeffrey Newell, holding off his nearest rival no fewer than eight times for the win.
“I was warming up in there and it was getting hot - my helmet kept fogging up a little bit,” he told FloRacing afterwards.
“I knew I had to just roll the bottom and get the win. I tried the top at the end, it looks a little bit sketchy but it looks fun.”
The action in Tulsa continues today (Wednesday, December 31).
