Ross Lee Chastain drives the No. 1 Chevrolet car for Trackhouse Racing and will be part of an intriguing NASCAR Cup Series lineup along with teen phenom Connor Zilisch and Kiwi road-course bully Shane van Gisbergen in 2026.

The man from Alva, Florida finished 10th in the 2025 Cup Series standings after a season which brought him a solitary race win at Charlotte.

2025 was Chastain’s fourth season driving for Trackhouse in NASCAR, and he began that spell in stellar fashion in 2022, notching the team’s first victory (at COTA) and then reaching the championship 4. He would lose out to eventual champion Joey Logano there.

Ross raced for Chip Ganassi Racing before it became Trackhouse, and also raced in the Xfinity Series for Kaulig Racing and for Niece Motorsports in the Truck Series.

Chastain’s resume now includes six Cup Series wins along with five in Truck Series action and two in the Xfinity Series (soon to be the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series).
