Teenage NASCAR prospect Jade Avedisian took another major step in her development on Saturday.

The 19-year-old has been namedropped in a number of NASCAR prospect rankings as her young career has continued, last year racing in the CARS Pro Late Model Tour for the first time.

She immediately became the first woman in series history to win a race, taking victory in her series debut at the New River All-American Speedway in March of 2025.

Now, Avedisian has won in just her second ever Super Late Model race, taking the win against a stacked field in the World Series of Asphalt at New Smyrna Speedway, ahead of Tuesday's ASA STARS National Tour race.

Avedisian: I felt confident

Speaking after the race, she said: “This is definitely pretty cool. It’s just another thing I kind of get to check off but tonight’s already done and I’ll focus on the rest of the week now.”

The teenage star added: "Honestly, I feel like I had a lot of confidence coming in into this week and I know how good the team ran here last year with this car.

"I’ve said I walked into this week with a lot of confidence and I knew if I did my job, there would be opportunities to win, so I feel like we did that I keep saying I’m just focused on what’s next and will go into Tuesday.”

Looking ahead to the coming week, she continued: “It gives me a little confidence, I guess. I’m sure there are going to be a few more really good teams show up on Tuesday and I’ll need to step up my game. I think we can make my car a little better. I can be a little better after watching my video and hopefully qualify up front for the 200 lapper.”
