NASCAR star Tyler Reddick has revealed what he spoke to his 23XI Racing boss Michael Jordan about following his Daytona 500 victory.
Despite only leading The Great American Race for one lap on Sunday, it was the one that mattered most, with Reddick charging past Chase Elliott to take the black and white checkered flag.
Not only was it Reddick's first Daytona 500 victory, but also a first for Jordan as a NASCAR owner, and the man himself also happened to be in attendance in Florida.
Jordan doesn't make it to all of the races, but he looked glad he did for this one, celebrating wildly with Reddick and the team in Victory Lane.

Reddick reveals what Jordan said after Daytona 500 victory
Post-race, Reddick was quizzed on what he and Jordan spoke about amid all of the excitement.
"He was very proud of me," Reddick told the media at Daytona International Speedway.
"He’s always wanted to win this race. It kind of just kept going back to, this is why he wanted me to be here, and Denny, same thing.
"They talked about my instincts as a driver and just the way that last lap played out, there was no premeditated thoughts, it was just all going off instincts and gut.
"They were just obviously really happy. But again, the way that race played out is why they wanted me to drive the 45 in situations like that, delivering, and it was nice to be able to do that."

Michael Jordan reaction
Speaking to the media himself post-race, Jordan revealed he was ecstatic and that it had given him the same feeling of winning an NBA championship.
"I can’t even believe it. It was so gratifying," he explained. "We had four guys that were really fighting, helping each other out. You never know how these races are going to end. You just try to survive.
"I thought Riley [Herbst] did an unbelievable job pushing at the end. That shows you what teamwork can really, really do. He doesn’t get enough credit. He won’t get enough credit. But we feel the love. We understand exactly what he did.
"We hung in there all day. Great strategy by the team, and we gave ourselves a chance at the end.
"Look, I’m ecstatic. I don’t even know what to say. It feels like I won a championship, but until I get my ring, I won’t even know."
