NASCAR driver and team owner Brad Keselowski has shared a heartwarming update amid his ongoing recovery from a leg fracture.
Earlier this month, the 2012 Cup Series champion revealed that he had broken his leg during a skiing accident and had been forced to undergo surgery as a result.
This surgery was described as 'routine' at the time by RFK Racing, who also confirmed that Keselowski was expected to make a full recovery.
The 41-year-old later shared an update on December 22nd, confirming that he had been discharged from the hospital.

What's the latest with Brad Keselowski?
That meant that Keselowski was able to celebrate the holidays with his family, although it appears he still has a way to go before being back to normal, as such.
As he has done on several occasions so far throughout this injury, the RFK Racing star and owner took to X once again in recent days to share the latest on his recovery.
The Michigan native wrote that he was 'down but not out' as he shared a picture of himself eating a peanut butter jelly sandwich alongside his son, Maize.
Not only did the tweet show Keselowski's defiance in his recovery, it also revealed he was still having to rest significantly in what looked like a hospital bed in his home.
Indeed, the 2012 champion revealed himself that although he was out of the hospital, he was still having to serve 'broken leg bed sentence time'.

Will Brad Keselowski miss any races?
It is unclear at this stage. In the aftermath of the original injury, Keselowski revealed: “My attention now is fully on recovery. I’m motivated to get back to full strength as quickly as possible and will work relentlessly to be ready for Daytona.”
This would suggest that he plans to be in his No. 6 RFK Racing Ford when the points-paying season opener gets underway on February 15.
However, given there was no mention of The Clash, and the fact that the exhibition race takes place on February 1, it seems probable at this stage that Keselowski will miss the event at Bowman Gray Stadium.
This would allow him a further fortnight to focus on his recovery ahead of the Daytona 500, which is the biggest event on the NASCAR calendar and undoubtedly the priority.
