Another new NASCAR driver has been confirmed on the entry list for this year's Daytona 500.
NASCAR Cup Series outfit Front Row Motorsports has announced that they will be running an open entry alongside their three chartered cars at this year's Great American Race.
Full-time Truck Series driver Chandler Smith will be the driver in the car for the team, piloting their No. 36 Ford, alongside Noah Gragson, Todd Gilliland and Zane Smith in the Nos. 4, 34, and 38.
The Georgia native has previously entered and failed to qualify for the Daytona 500 on two occasions in 2023 and 2025, although he does have three Cup Series starts under his belt at Richmond, Daytona (not the 500) and Talladega.
Smith is set to drive full-time this year with Front Row in the Truck Series, where he won two races for the team in 2025.

Chandler Smith set for Daytona 500 effort
"I’m really excited to take a shot at the Daytona 500 with the FRM Cup Series program," said Smith in the team's announcement.
"This organization is known for its speed at superspeedways, and I am going to give it my best shot to win the Harley J. Earl Trophy or help my teammates if I am in the position to do so in the end.
"I greatly appreciate the opportunity and will do my part to get FRM off to a great start to the 2026 Cup season, while I pursue my primary goal this year in winning the 2026 Truck Series Championship."
The 2026 Daytona 500 takes place on February 15, although qualifying (Feb. 11) and duels (Feb. 12) are also scheduled to take place earlier in the week.
Smith's entry takes the expected number of entries to the event to 44 (36 chartered cars, eight open cars).
