23XI Racing has continued its 100 per cent record of NASCAR Cup Series race wins since the conclusion of its lawsuit against the sport last December.

Tyler Reddick snatched a dramatic win at Atlanta on Sunday evening to go two for two on the year following his Daytona 500 triumph, with team-mate Bubba Wallace taking 19 of a possible 20 stage points and his second top-ten finish of 2026.

Wallace was in contention for the win, even leading the field into overtime and double overtime restarts, but fell back at the last – allowing Reddick, in a battered No. 45 Toyota Camry, to become the first Cup Series driver since Matt Kenseth in 2009 to win a season's first two races.

With NASCAR drivers now awarded 55 points for a race victory under the new Chase format, Reddick tops the standings on 125 points at present, having picked up an additional 15 in stage points.

Further back in the points, there's trouble for some drivers expected to be competing for the championship at Homestead-Miami in November. 2025 champion Kyle Larson suffered a self-inflicted wreck at the end of Stage 2 in Atlanta to DNF in 32nd position, leaving him 21st in points and currently below the Chase cut line.

Even he is in better shape perennial postseason performers Denny Hamlin, Christopher Bell and Alex Bowman though, with that trio sitting 27th, 31st and 32nd respectively.

One note of respect for Trackhouse Racing's Shane van Gisbergen too, who twice battled back from the back of the field in the final stage to finish sixth in Sunday's race (his best outside of road courses), putting him 16th and provisionally into the Chase...before setting a wheel on a single one of the road courses he's made his own over the last year.
