After it was announced last month, NASCAR and FOX Sports are set to premiere a new Dale Earnhardt documentary tonight following the Daytona Duels.
We’ve Lost Dale Earnhardt: 25 Years Later is set to look at the aftermath of the NASCAR legend's tragic death following a crash at the 2001 Daytona 500.

February 18 will mark the 25th anniversary of Earnhardt's passing, and the new documentary will revisit that day through the emotional, cultural and human impact felt by those not only at the race track, but at home.
To do so, the documentary will utilize exclusive first-person accounts, rare home video, and archival broadcast footage.
“When Mike Helton announced that ‘We’ve lost Dale Earnhardt,'” it’s one of those rare moments when you remember where you were when you heard that devastating news,” said John Dahl, NASCAR SVP of Content.
“Through the prism of those indelible words, this documentary explores that fateful day and the profound impact it continues to have a quarter-century later.”
