Front Row Motorsports driver Todd Gilliland has revealed which of his NASCAR rivals he'd choose to be his teammates in a Cup Series dream team.

NASCAR's elite division is stacked with talent at present, with some formidable lineups across the field, particularly at the top.

Take Joe Gibbs Racing, for example. They have Denny Hamlin, Christopher Bell, Chase Briscoe and Ty Gibbs. Meanwhile, Hendrick Motorsports also has an array of talent in their four cars in Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, William Byron and Alex Bowman.

But who would you choose to be in your NASCAR Cup Series dream team, if you had the choice? Well, that question was recently put to Gilliland, and he came up with a pretty strong lineup.

Todd Gilliland picks NASCAR dream team

"I’d say Denny Hamlin would be one," Gilliland explained to The Athletic when asked who he would choose as his three teammates in a hypothetical four-car team.

"I’d love to see the behind the scenes of how he operates, especially right now. He always talks about how hard he works and everything, so it’d be cool to see.

"Kyle Larson would be another one. I’d love to also see behind the scenes what he does.

"And then Austin Cindric, since he’s a Ford guy right now. We’ve been working together and talking a lot [at Daytona]. I feel like he’d be a fun teammate.

"I love my teammates now, too! But I had to put them out of my mind to choose different ones."

The numbers

The three drivers whom Gilliland selected would certainly be a fascinating lineup, and it is one that would come with a lot of experience.

Between the three of them, Hamlin, Larson and Cindric have completed 1280 races in the Cup Series, and have won 95 of those.

There are even two Cup Series championships between them, although they both belong to Larson.

All in all, we like what Gilliland did here, and we certainly think it's a lineup that would bring plenty of success to his theoretical team.
