Denny Hamlin has revealed where he expects to end on the NASCAR Cup Series all-time win list.

The veteran Joe Gibbs Racing driver passed Kevin Harvick to take sole possession of tenth place on the all-time Cup Series wins chart on Sunday at Las Vegas, moving onto 61 victories.

Hamlin has strongly suggested that he expects 2027 to be his final season as a driver, meaning that he has fewer than 70 races remaining to add to his win total before hanging up his helmet for good.

On his Actions Detrimental podcast on Monday, the 23XI Racing co-owner said that he will 'more than likely' end his career with 67 wins. You have to admit, it's specific.

Hamlin: I'm going to fall at 67

“We have next Darlington, Kansas, right? Martinsville. I’m just thinking of the tracks. Get another win, that’s the goal. One of those two races. One of those three.

"Talladega, I wish, guys. I wish. I’m trying everything when it comes to superspeedway racing, just not getting the proper finishes. I’m trying to run up front as much as I can, doesn’t matter. Crash.”

He continued: “I thought that realistically it was… I think … I don’t know … I’m going to fall at 67. That’s where I think it ends more than likely. And then the next year, more than likely 67. That’s just by the numbers. That’s not any, ‘Oh I feel this, I feel that’. That’s just where the numbers land averaging what I average.”
